EFT And Its Working EFT is a great healing therapy that has relived the emotional and physical pain of a large number of people. The working of this technique is simple and beneficial one. There are times when a person might be facing some problems due to the negative emotions built up in the mind and body. EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique helps people relieve and shed off the similar problems of negative emotions. These negative emotions are faced by an individual due to the disturbances caused in the energy field of the human body. Tapping is a very popular and widely accepted technique that is used in EFT in order to restore the balance of the person by tapping on the affected person’s meridians thereby altering the energy field of the body. The theory of EFT was introduced by Gary Craig in order to improve the ‘Thought Field Therapy’ of Roger Callahan. There are many cases in which people face over-critical behavior and thoughts while engaging themselves in learning something. Thus, this EFT helps tremendously in eliminating these over-critical behaviors and making the person relieved from the emotional stress. Basically EFT works as a healing therapy that releases the inner resistance and emotional pain suffered by an individual. Tapping is done on the main energy points of the body just like it is done in acupuncture or acupressure so as to focus on the body’s meridians. The best part about the EFT working is that the procedure involved in relieving the emotional stress or pain is very simple, unchanging and does not provide any ill-effects to the body of the sufferer. The EFT working is versatile as it has the capacity to cater to the needs of the energy field of the body. A large number of people go for this therapy as they want to release their unhealthy cravings and lead a better and smooth life. Joint pains and headaches can also be released by taking the benefits of EFT therapy. The EFT works by checking the extent of pain suffered by the person and then accordingly taking on the tapping process. The therapy not only works great in order to relive the emotional or physical pain, it soothes the body’s energy as well. The pain of the person is assessed by measuring it on the pain scale of 1 to 10. The pain assessed by the scale is not always the physical pain, most of the times, and it is the emotional pain that is suffered by people. Once the pain scale assesses the points of pain suffered, the procedure of tapping starts. For instance, if a person is suffering from joint pain, the person will be tapping and repeating the word ‘joint pain’ several times. Then after going through the process, the person is checked once again on the pain scale so as to see if the pain is still left. And if there is a bit of pain left, the tapping process goes on again but now the person has to add the word ‘remaining’ before ‘joint pain’ in order to release the pain left in the body. The working of this EFT process has worked wonders for a large chunk of society by relieving their pain as well as has helped in making their immune system work better.
